Special Events for Holy Week

🌙🍞 A Table Set for Freedom 🍷🌾

📍 Church House
🕗 Thursday 7:30pm

On Maundy Thursday evening,  step into a story told through food, song, and candlelight. Our Communion Meal isn't like a typical service – it's part meal, part story, part shared journey.
Inspired by the Last Supper, the cry for freedom in the Passover, and the voices of liberation movements across time, we’ll gather around tables to remember, reflect, and hope. Whether this is familiar or brand new, there’s a place for you at the table.

🎶 Woven through the evening is “I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free” by Nina Simone – a song of longing, liberation, and hope.

🥗 Contact us to join the WhatsApp group to help share around who's bringing what for the meal!

Good Friday Explorations

📍 The Pathfinder CofE Primary School
🕗 Friday 18th April 10am

🌿 If you enjoyed the Palm Sunday Adventure — multisensory activities, singing our redub of This Little Light of Mine, or tasting bread and grapes — or if you’ve been following our story posts this week…

✝️💔Then join us this Good Friday for a time of reflection, creativity, and of course… hot cross buns!
We’ll walk through key moments of the story — from the garden to the cross — with thoughtful spaces for all ages. You might:
✨ Sit in silence and watch time pass, just as Jesus prayed in Gethsemane
🔥 Whisper a prayer by the courtyard fire, where Peter once stood
🎭 Choose a heart-shaped sticker to wear with courage and confidence
🌑 Step into darkness and light a candle, remembering that love shines even when the light fades
⚫ Write a word of hope, and seal it in your Story Cross to open on Easter Sunday

Whether you're new to this story or know it by heart, come and explore what it means that Love is stronger — than fear, than pain, than even death.

🌅 Easter Morning in Northstowe

📍 The Pathfinder CofE Primary School
🕗 Sunday 20th April 10am
☕ Come 10 mins early for refreshments and creative activities

This Easter, we’re creating a space for all ages to explore the story of love that’s stronger than everything. Whether church is familiar or completely new to you, you’re welcome to come just as you are.

We’ll reflect, wonder, create, and share — with songs, conversation, and Communion (the symbolic meal that connects us with God and one another). There's no pressure to take part in anything that doesn't feel right for you.

Expect colour, story, music, curiosity, and encounter — and afterwards, an Easter egg hunt for anyone feeling playful! 🐣
